Apparently I never posted yesterday

So to sum up:

- tropical batik postage stamp quilt is coming along very quickly, which is nice. Not what I'd originally planned to do with that pattern/those fabrics, but they're coming together nicely.
- GP visit: everything looks good. I apologized for my (for me) high BP of 123/80 and she said so many of her patients would love to have a BP that low. It was high for me though. Frustrating/struggling day yesterday contributed.
- weather is miserable, v hot, v humid
- tomatoes are still going, giant kidney shaped tomato refuses to ripen, threatens small towns
- however the squashes are struggling. The plants themselves are really healthy looking. But the fruit grows maybe an inch and then rots on the vine. We've tried nutrients and the soapy water sprays to combat bugs. Last year I got so much squash, doing exactly the same thing, so I don't know what's happening this year.
- took a tiny ear of corn to check for ripeness and gave it to the peeps afterward. They spent all day pecking at the kernels, the silk and the husks. Gave them something to do. :) When we harvest the corn, I'll put the stalks and leaves in their cage too. If we harvest the corn - it too looks super healthy but the ears look so small.
- FALLOUT 76 TRAILER OMG OMG OMG
