Briefmarken

One of the neat things about Postcrossing is the stamps that people send. I wish we had cool interesting stamps to use, but because ours just say "Forever" on them instead of numerical values, I've heard different things about whether they're OK to use for international postcards. (There are specific international "forever" stamps as well.)

This one came today from Czechia/Czech Republic.

This is part of a larger panel, of course, but here's what I could get from the sides and bottom:

...the Czechoslovak national council based in (Paris? partly obscured but that could be it)

naval battle at Jutland, battle at verdun, on somme - death of emperor F. Joseph I. - new emperor Charles I

...defending Czech interests with loyalty to the Habsburg monarchy
