I love these oddball things and all of them are high on my bucket list.

1. The Biggest Ball of Twine, Darwin, MN
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biggest_ball_of_twine
I first heard of this from Sam and Max Hit the Road which features "The World's Largest Ball of Twine." Sadly, the real thing doesn't feature a revolving restaurant on top, or a skytram to get you there, but darn it, I want to go there, and there had better be postcards and cheesy souvenirs (PACS). (I heard the Weird Al song much later.)

2. Uranus, MO

omg this place is nothing but toilet/Uranus jokes and I love it and yes you can buy fudge there and I think it would be utterly hysterical to visit and take photo ops and buy PACS and a T-shirt.

3. Mütter Musem, Philadelphia
http://muttermuseum.org/
Plaster cast of Siamese twins Chang and Eng! Civil War Amputation Kit! Art and jewelry made from human hair! The Soap Lady! Albert Einstein's brain samples! Benjamin Rush Medicinal Plant Garden! The Hyrtl Skull collection! Stuff in jars! Skeletal pathologies! How could I not want to visit this place? Yes, it is a serious museum, but man, look what they have.

4. Titan Missile Museum
http://www.titanmissilemuseum.org/
This is probably a good one to visit before it falls apart, but man, the Cold War kid in me salivates over this place. Last of the Titan II missile sites! Guided tours through all 8 levels of the underground silo! (which I might not be able to do, it's five hours and multiple ladders, but) Souvenirs suitable for your bomb shelter, like pocket dosimeters! omg.

5. The Mystery Spot, Santa Cruz, CA
https://www.mysteryspot.com/
One of the best Mystery Spots around, and you get a free bumper sticker. Not sure if the Mystery Spot Polka by Brave Combo is based on this or not, but could be!

Things like the Mütter Museum intrigue me, but I would be scared to be in a place like that in real life. I would be afraid of the Soap Lady. Sometimes I have nightmares about scary museums! x)

I can't deal with gore movies where the obvious intent is "rip women to shreds" but stuff like this, naturally occurring things? Those are fascinating and not scary at all.

All of these places better have postcards.
