I almost get the feeling you guys like games. ;-)

I've owned two desktops, the oldest one from 2003 still functions, but can't be connected to my wireless internet. It's a Fujitsu-Siemens. I bought a Compaq in 2008. It was a much stronger computer, but it had a system crash of some sort. I still have it, just in case it can be fixed. Although it's so old now, what would I use it for, eh?

I'm currently on my third laptop. It's an Acer. I've also got a Toshiba, that works but isn't in the best shape, that I keep as a back-up solution. My first laptop was an Asus. It ded.

I've got a Nintendo DS with one game. I've not used it in years. Finally, I've got an iPad 3, but the charger is busted.

Allow me to point out we didn't even know each other for the first 17-18 years of our lives and still accumulated a lot of those before we even met! :D

We've had too many PCs to keep track of without work, and I think only 2 laptops. A really old Ipod maybe? After a while they all get kinda lost in the shuffle (haha).

I have to have a desktop computer. I know people love laptops, but I really need that processing power and general stability. GAMEZ YO.

I've been on the "research stage" for buying a desktop for at least two years now. :P The laptop I've got is reasonably strong, and can run TS3 with the highest settings for a while, but I would really love the stability of playing on a desktop. Oh, and the ability to replace the graphics card. x)

AngryDandelion and I would both like a new graphics card. Mine's OK for Sims games and rather bare bones on other games, but it would be nice to get an upgrade. (I want to add some graphics mods to other games and my current card says "No, friend".) He wants one because he's starting to hit the wall on the higher end games.

The problem is that the Bitcoiners have driven up prices on graphics cards; they buy them for the processing power to mine Bitcoins, which means the average gamer gets to start shelling out big bucks for a limited supply of cards. It bites :/

Bitcoin is going to lead to something very bad. I just "know" it. Like the dot-com bubble back in the 00s, or the yappie era.
