It's been a while since I did any quilting or worked on the world map. I didn't quilt much in January because I spent a lot of time upstairs in the office, but I hope as the days get longer that I'll have more time in the afternoons with sunlight. The world map needed some more fabrics to show up so I could fill in small countries without doubling up too much.

But now I'm almost done with the new world! Some caveats:
- Caribbean still needs work, lots of little tiny islands etc.
- Hawaii needs to be added
- Canada is incomplete (lots of island pieces again)
- Greenland

That said, it's a lot more finished than it was a month (six weeks?) ago.

Once the above is complete (esp Greenland) then I can start moving east across the Atlantic to Iceland and then Europe. That's when I'll really need a lot of fabrics, though, to avoid doubles.

North America is a little boring in its own way because it's just those 3 countries. The monolithic green is a little boring too (sorry!) but it was a big enough piece for the USA so that's why it was used there.
