Walkin' in my winter underwear

More snow pictures! What an event!

Front of our house, before 7 AM

Across the street. The roads are clear. At the time of these pix the outside temp was 33 F. No wind.

Front yard. You can see we didn't get a lot of snow on the ground here - probably because of the big oak shielding the ground. Then again it might just be warmer ground.

Our several vehicles (all silver or white, which works with this color palette) and the snow. Mine is forefront and up next to the house so the passenger side is clear.

Toly's car (man, I hope the battery works this morning). The snow was light and fluffy and just right for packing into snowballs.

So of course we had a snowball fight! Dad proceeded to pelt people but I managed to get him twice in the neck. :D Huxrin is wearing her General Hux coat because "It's very warm and not pretentious when there's snow!" (It is indeed a lovely warm long coat)

I always say to myself "I'll comment over at DW," but TBH I'm only at DW to post. I still do all my commenting at LJ, mainly because most people are still commenting on my crossposts here! So I end up not commenting on your posts. SRY. (Thought I'd throw as many capital letters into that paragraph as possible!)

Anyway, SNOW! How pretty, and an interesting novelty for you guys. We usually get the kind that sticks around, but we've got this giant high pressure parked over us right now. That's what makes horrible inversions this time of year and horrible heat in the summer. X| So I'll enjoy your pics.

I've said this before, but your home and your yard are so beautiful! I hope to someday have something of my own that's equally pretty.

Heh! I know how that is. It's hard because I don't want to completely cut off the LJ folks, but... anyway I do post some stuff solely to DW (health filter and more personal stuff) so if you see it there, you can only comment there anyway. :)

It really is novel for us! In my 10 years now this is the first time we got this much (2 inches!) and that it stayed for a few hours. It's all melting off slowly now and getting slushy.

Thank you so much! *^_^* I wish I could make houses in Sims, but even knowing the layout of my own house, I can't quite figure out how to do it properly when I get into the game. Heh!
