https://laridian.dreamwidth.org/2662274.html is the master list.

As of Sept 22, we also had:

Raven, Chihuahua
Titmouse, juniper
Titmouse, bridled
Hummingbird, calliope
Hummingbird, broadtailed
Hummingbird, rufous
Sparrow, chipping

I had a note "We are at 178!!"

Now (Oct 5) we went through the pictures, and Mom's camera is fantastic and got so many good ones of hummingbirds in flight, and of Gambel's quail. Anyway, after that, we were able to identify a few more:

Catbird, gray <--Entirely new for us!
Bunting, lark <--ibid!
Towhee, green-tailed
Woodpecker, hairy*

* This is hard to believe because they do live around here, but it wasn't on the list, so...

Also to note, we now have 4 out of the 5 North American titmouse species. Oak titmouse is only on the Pacific coast, that would be hard to get within 2017.

This brings us to a whopping 182, which means we will have an awful lot to live up to next year.
