Dieting

I got the weekly diet plan from the folks, the one Mom said she lost weight quickly on. It's nice in that it specifically states "here's your breakfast/lunch/dinner plans" so you don't have to think too much about it. (Hey, I got enough to think about already ;)

Today's breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit (no sweetener, my choice to do so), bowl of oatmeal, whole wheat toast, 8 oz milk (whole milk - all we had). Then I took the diet soda with me on the errand run. I finished eating at 7:30.

By 9 am I was starving and thinking of grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, because it's been bucketing down rain all day.

It's now 9:50 and my full-size TV dinner just finished in the micro. I'm so hungry I'm astonished by it.

Yesterday I ate a truly huge pile of meat, four servings of mixed vegetables, and almost an entire hoagie roll with butter.

Oh, and I lost another pound overnight.

Heh :)

Somehow I doubt I'll end up with Heat Lightning-like shoulders out of all this. ;) Although any diet that is allowing me to eat like this and still lose weight (5lb in 1 week so far) does have its merits, even if I do feel hungry all the time. ^_^
